Hey everyone, so I recently moved over to win8.1 and I moved my storage drive over from my old rig. Windows is giving me the old "windows detected a harddrive error" so I did a dskchk and came up with no errors, segatetools failed on smart and short DST but passed short and long generic test.

I ended up running HDDscan and the smart results gave me

Basically only the spin up time was giving me an error... It's a storage drive so it's not always spinning. Is this an issue or can I just ignore it?

The weird thing is that it's reporting 1 but the actual spin up time is fine. I've ran chkdsk and it didn't have any errors, the r/w is still the same values as it was before. Maybe this is just a false positive?

Also, there's nothing important on this hdd. I just have miscellaneous programs that I didn't want to have on my ssd.

It's an older f3 hd502hj. The only error hddscan/hd tune/etc is the spin up time but it's spinning up just fine. All of the other smart values are the same/similar to other f3 drives, at least from what I can see.
