need help!!

im using a 2tb ext hdd. got a virus which makes every folder into a shortcut file. i accidentally deleted the .trash folder, which made those shortcuts of no use.

to recover my files i installed puppy linux where my data was working properly(movies, sw iso, games' isos ' and many files)

i made a new folder on hdd and started moving those folders which i was not able to see while working on windows.
it worked for few but not for all. especially for the disk images folder and movies folder.

i used mv command while moving on terminal.
the files have moved to folder named 'sdb1' and those moved folders are non-accessible there.

im now stucked in between. cant use them on windows nor on linux.

the hdd disk space is as same as it was earlier.
