HDD shutdown after new GPU was installed.

So, few weeks ago I got Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB GPU. Installed it and then things started to happen.

So for a start I launched Warframe and I set all graphics properties to medium.

In about 5 mins screen froze, sound stopped after 2-3 secs, and pc was completely frozen. Tried ctrl+alt+del and stuff, no reaction...

So, I restarted pc, and this thing popped up [Thing]

After pressing power button and turning the pc back on after 10s HDD was there and everything was fine.

So what's the problem? Can anyone help?

My guess is that PSU doesn't have enough power.

i suspect the psu...
or driver conflict

can you check in the bios if the voltages are normal?
can you try with a friend s psu?

If it's this PSU http://www.amazon.co.uk/CIT-500w-Micro-Power-Supply/dp/B002Q8HFB6 then it most likely is the issue. You probably had it for a long time since it's an old P4 PSU.

Do you have any suggestions on 700-800w psu? I'll need new one anyway...

Where will you buy and what will you add to your PC in the next few years? A quality 500W PSU is enough for your current system; a quality PSU will provide enough current on the +12V rail. i suggest you to replace the psu as soon as possible by some popular psu like
seasonic/xfx/antec hcg/evga G2-B2

Get a Seasonic or XFX power supply and ditch the CiT one you currently have OP.

And GhislainG I'm gonna upgrade CPU, can't say which one it will be tho.
