Hello all, I bought an 8 TB WD My book and shucked the HDD to replace one of my HDD on my PC. The drive is white label WD80EZAZ which is 5400 RPM 8 TB which I covered 3rd pin with ducktape to make it work on my PC. My problem is, when I power on the system, I have to wait approx. 20 seconds at boot logo while 8 TB HDD powers up and spins the disk (I can hear as the disk gets ready), which slows down my boot time dramatically. I have 1 TB WD Blue 7200 rpm also (it"s hybrid system) but naturally things wasn't this slow before I replace the disk with my previos WD Blue disk. If I restart my system (hard or soft reset) boot is much faster naturally.

Is there an option I can change on BIOS so boot won't wait for HDD to wake up?

Thank you!
