HDD Slowing PC

HDD Slowing PC down as soon as it is detected. It is taking forever for any of my PCs to detect it. and if i go onto the internet, it takes like 5mins for the internet explorer screen to show up and then another 2-3mins before google loads. and if i attempt at opening a program, it won't load until i disconnect the HDD

The hard drive may be failing. Test it with SeaTools for Windows: http://www.seagate.com/gb/en/support/downloads/item/seatools-win-master/

It cannot even be detected...until I unplug it. it will then show up on the seagate tools program...and when I plug the HDD back in, the systems becomes a slug again.
