[SOLVED] HDD Speed is slow like max is 1-2 mbps

I've put my SSD in HDD place and put HDD in DVD bay by helping of caddy and the both slots are sata3 but hdd speed is less then 2 mbps.

Lenovo Ideapad 110
8GB DDR4 ram
2 GB AMD Radeon graphics

any solutions?

We're going to need more info than that. Did you make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for your laptop's motherboard? There should be a dip switch to toggle on the side of your secondary HDD caddy, see if changing positions changes the issue.

Also, you forgot to mention the make and model of your laptop(and it's SKU). A lot of people come around with upgrades done to their laptop then realize that the SATA port is the limiting factor or that the HDD was indeed failing/faulty.

Keep in mind that moving speed is dependent on file size. Lots of small files takes much longer then 1 large file of the same total size.

Optical drives usually only have a sata1 connector in a modern laptop, that's more then they need. unless your bay is considered an Ultrabay then this may be hampering you as well.
