HDD stuck in RAW format - Not readable through USB-IDE/SATA adapter

I have a IDE HDD Im trying to recover data off of through my Vantec IDE/SATA adapter, but the drive is in RAW format. Anyone know how I can go about changing it back to NTFS or some other way to recover the data?

Keep in mind that the drive could have failed.
