Question HDD to new SSD with a twist?

Hello, I am new here. Nice to join the community.

Yesterday I bought and installed a Samsung SSD 860 QVO 2TB. Now just because I was wanting to play with some friends I moved the games 'Anthem' and 'Apex Legends' to the SSD, but that was it.

Now, today, I want to migrate my HDD to SDD. Couple of queries are:

Is the Samsung Migration tool the best for me to use, or EaseUS Todo? (Two options I know of)

Will things get wonky when Origin and it's contents move over and Anthem and Apex Legends are in their own folders, or can I just simply move the folders back into the Origin games folder when it's all done? (I emptied the HDD folders that had the games' files, and deleted the folders)

Is the migration really the best option, or should I just backup what I want and do a fresh install?

(My HDD is 1TB and is only about 593GB full and, as stated above, the SSD is 2TB)

Move games back to HDD and clone HDD to SSD.
That's how I'd do it.

You can use whatever cloning software seems more convenient to you. Other good options - Macrium Reflect, Minitool Partition Wizard Free, Acronis Disk Director .. and more.
