HDD to SSD Help?

I just purchased a PNY SSD with 240 GB of storage. I currently have a 1TB HDD. I would like to copy my OS into the new SSD and possibly some other programs if it is possible. When I have been trying to migrate my OS to the SSD I am getting an error, "The specified disk is too small." Im not why I am having this issue when I am only trying to transfer my OS.
I am using the MiniTool Partition Wizzard.

Can you post screenshot from Disk Management?
For cloning operation to be possible, used space in OS partition has to be smaller than target drive. If it is not, then you'll have to move/delete some data and uninstall some software.

1. That partition wizard is not the way to do it.
2. You can't move over only the "os and some other programs"

How much total used space is consumed on your current drive?
What, exactly, constitutes that space?
