I have several questions, and hopefully not that confusing! I am hoping you can clear it up to me, and if you can help, please try to be as simple as possible!
Here's the issue I'm facing:
I am most likely going to purchase my first SSD, probably a 120 or 128GB SSD. As of right now, I have two HDDs. I have Windows 7 Pro, all my applications and games are installed on that 1TB drive. On my other HDD, i have some games installed on that as well as recorded videos.
Due to the Windows 10 upgrade coming out soon, I wanted to have my OS on my brand new SSD. Though how do I go about that? I don't want to lose everything I have on the drive with Win 7 on it.
So my main questions are, how should I go about this? Should I install Windows 7 on my new SSD, and then upgrade it to Windows 10 from there? If i did that, would I lose any apps/games that were installed on the drive where the OS was located? (And how would i get Windows 7 off that 1TB drive?)
OR
Do I wait until Windows 7 is out on my HDD, and upgrade to Windows 10 from there, and then somehow, move it to the SSD? (And same thing, how would i do that, and get Win 7 off that 1TB drive as well?)
Or is there another option? Basically, I don't want to lose anything, and I want my OS to be on my new SSD!
ANY HELP is appreciated, if you need any more information, let me know. THANK YOU.
