HDD to SSD, Windows 8

I want to change my HDD on laptop to SSD. I know there are copy programs that I can use. My question is, do I need new windows license if I copy my current hard drive to SSD? I am really not sure even after talking to Windows 8 representative. I know I can do this

but I do not want to reinstall everything plus again I'm not sure about Windows license.

Can someone clear some information?

If you clone the drive, you will not need a new license.

Windows 8 OEM is a lot more liberal to begin with - that said, even without cloning your drive you can still reinstall a copy.
Windows OEM's only ever really had issues with the Mobo.
