HDD to SSD

Hi, I am wanting to switch my current HDD to an SSD for faster performance. When I do so I will migrate the OS into the SSD and program and games into the HDD. Once I install the games into my HDD and open the games on my HDD, will it use it boot speed from the SSD or HDD?

Your SSD as a boot drive will improve boot speed and general OS performance. Games themselves are not really helped by having an SSD and many people just run them from the HDD due to their size.
