HDD to ssd

I have a 500gb harddrive and I'm buying a 512gb ssd
I want to know will I be able to migrate all my data from the HDD to the ssd so that my ssd is the only drive in my pc.

I am getting a crucial mx100 512gb and that comes with a cloning software.
Will it clone everything or just windows?
Will all my programmes and games be usable once cloned ect ?

Yep, but if your using the SSD as a windows drive then no copy and paste. Your gona need to reinstall it on that drive.

Easier than you think.
Just clone your hard drive to the ssd and replace.
Then erase and repurpose your hard drive as a storage device.
If your new ssd is Samsung or Intel, they offer free data cloning utilities that work with their ssd's
I have used both with no issue.

And... copy will not copy the hidden recovery partition that windows builds cloning will.
