HDD Very Slow and some bad blocks

Hi,
My PS3 become very slow and sometimes is freezing, I cannot even watch netflix on it.

I used HDD Scan to read my HDD and got those results.
Its time to change, right?

I would replace it. At least backup anything and everything you can before continuing use.

Also consider a SSD as a replacement for the HDD. May be faster, quieter, less energy consumption.

Hey there, ChronoGlenn!

You should most definitely backup any important files from this HDD immediately! @Ralston18 is right, I'd not trust any data with the drive due to the number of bad sectors. The red ones would most probably be remapped (marked as bad) as well pretty soon, so be careful.
I'd recommend you to check the warranty status of the drive on the manufacturer's website or get in touch with their customer support. If it's still covered, you should be able to RMA and get a replacement.

I did a test with a new SSD on PS3 and it worked perfectly, I will replace my old HDD.
Thx
