So i curentlyuse a budget hdd qith enough storage for me.
Whats the benefit would be if i switch to ssd? I read somewhere it says that it ll startup my pc faster, hpwever mine alreadys starts in 3-5 seconds.
So does it worth to spend for ssd?
Thank you.

%100 sure about that.
I have an option smth like "fast boot" on bios i selected that.

As far as the games.. so lets say im going to play online fps, so will the game load faster before the round or are you talking about when the game initially starts

3-5 seconds = simply coming out of sleep.
What does it do from a full OFF condition?

In any case, an SSD is far more than just boot time.

So when i say 3-5 sec. when the pc is completly off, the time between and i hit on power button and the time i see my desktop.
Am i counting smth wrong? Im not an expert!

This is time i calculate, how do i check the last bios time?

If that gives me an advantage for game loading ( because most of the time i start after other players)
I can invest the money.

My other question is, if i get something with small capacity (lets say 120gb) and keep windows and competitive games on it, and keep the rest on hdd. Is that a good idea?

120GB is too small.

I'd have to actually see a 3-5 second "boot time" to believe it.
I'm not asking you to make a video or anything, but that is not within the realm of possibility.

From an absolute power off cold boot...
20-30 seconds with an SSD, and a minimal Startup application stack.
This counts the time the BIOS is doing its thing, and then the OS actually starting.

What size?
250GB. Currently, the price difference between a 120GB Samsung EVO and a 250GB Samsung EVO is ~$13 at Amazon.
No brainer.
