[SOLVED] HDD weird sound while starting PC, beeping and knocking

hello,

I just ordered a Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD, and there is a weird sound while starting PC it is like beeping and kocking sound -> it is like 5-10second, then its quiet. Very rare but sometimes when im doing something on PC i hear again this beeping like 2 times and then its again quiet.

Just wanted to ask if this is a big problem or i shouldnt be afraid of this and keep this HDD in my PC?

I don't think it will hurt your PC.
Different hard drives make different noises.
The noises you are hearing may be normal for that model.

Usually I only get concerned about a hard drive noise if it's a new noise.

And continue to backup all important data stored on that new HDD.....

Install Gnome disks for Linux or get crystal disk info for Windows and will tell you if you got any bad sectors or if your HDD needs replacing. Some HDD make different sounds but if it's a new sound then you might have a problem.
