Hdd with windows 7, plug and play?

I have an old 320gb hdd with windows 7 on, and to save some money on my new system I have desided to keep it with my build (cpu R5-2400g), is it plug and play with the system and a quick update to windows 10 or is it more complicated (I heard tied to mobo)

P.s (not urgent) i need to send the AB350N-Gaming Wifi to gigabyte to get a bios update from the photo can you please tell me the serial number and model number I couldnt make head or toe of it but didnt want to make a full thread

Probably won't even boot on a different system.
Backup your data and do a fresh install of windows 10

Can you create a boot drive if you have a personal microsoft account or do you have to get a key?
