Neither. Only the Dualink DVI and Displayport on that monitor support 120Hz. Using the HDMI port will limit you to 60Hz.

The HDMI port on the monitor only supports upto 1080p@60Hz. I know because i'm sitting 2ft away from the one I have owned for years.
