Question HDMI 2.1 / Display Port 1.4

Hello All
Running an ASUS motherboard with AMD Ryzen7
My questions is concerning two 4K monitors,
If I hook up both monitors to both available HDMI 2.1, will I still have support of 4K on both monitors?
Because the motherboard does have a single Display Port 1.4, would it be better to hook up one monitor to the HDMI, and the other monitor to the Display Port?
Also, the computer has a USB 4Type-C...so maybe that's a better option to use the one Display Port, and the other monitor on an adapter to the USB 4Type-C?

For the most part, each port supports the maximum resolution the GPU is capable of. It also doesn't matter which ports you use.

HDMI 2.1 should be able to support 4k@120hz each.
But, I think you need ultra quality HDMI2.1 cables to get 120hz.

If the monitors support dp connection, that would be my first choice.
