hdmi 2 way spliter to hdmi tv and hdmi to vga converter to old monitor

I have a 2 way spliter from my g-card in my pc to a converter and a hdmi so i can use my old monitor and my hdmi monitor but i dont know if that would work or what exact cords i would need.
