Question Hdmi and dvi-d dead on graphics card, will DP work ???

Hello ! So I wanted to connect my pc to my TV by using a multi hdmi connector but in the process it seemed to have burnt out the hdmi port and the dvi-d port on my 1070, my question is, will the display ports work or are all the ports linked and rekked because the hdmi and dvi got fried ?

I am thinking of getting a DP to Hdmi converter and trying that out, as my screen does not support DP cable, only hdmi.

The graphics card appears to still work fine and lights up and the fans spin etc.

There are also no noticeable burn marks on the hdmi port, I did however smell the burning electricity
