So i recently finished my first PC, and i had some troubles on startup.
So everything seemed to work right, I'm running a z87 Sabertooth and an MSI GTX 970 Twin Frozr, which both lit up with power.
But the problem i had with the computer is that i cant seem to connect it to my monitor.
I plugged it in through the HDMI Cable on the back coming from the motherboard and the PC, but it still say no signal on the motherboard. So, my friend told me i should get a DVI-D Cable for my computer and plug it in to the back of the monitor to the graphics card and it should display.
But i get the feeling before i order the new cable, it might work with an HDMI.
My question being, can i plug my HDMI Cable into my computer to get it too work, am i doing something wrong, or do i order a new DVI-D Cable?
