HDMI connection - 2nd monitor detected but not showing

Hi,

Just bought a HDMI cable and trying to get my dual monitor set-up working.
This is the HDMI cable I bought: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00NH126Q0?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

GPU: NVIDIA GTX 970
First monitor: BENQ XL2411T
Second monitor: BENQ GL2450HM

Is there any reasons why this shouldn't work?

Monitor on correct input? right click on your desktop and go to Screen Resolution. make sure it it has the option for Multiple Displays. if it does not then they monitors are connected right. if it does try changing it to extend your display.

I've done both of these already mate. Didn't fix it. 🙁

It does detect both displays, just whichever has the HDMI cable plugged into won't show a picture.

What is the Multiple Display settings say? Are they extended? Try changing to Duplicate or something. Also check Resolution of second screen. maybe drag it down to like 1024x768 or something and just see if you get a picture or not.
