My HDMI connection from my PC to TV looks terrible; however, looks fantastic when changed to VGA.
I have already googled this question, and the main answer is that I need to change the input label on my HDMI to PC, yet I have no clue how to do that with my 32" Toshiba.
On VGA, the resolution looks great at 1360x768, yet over HDMI the native resolution is "apparently" 1980x1080. Yet that looks still bad and edgy.
The VGA source name is "VGA/PC" and the HDMI is called "HDMI 2". This, once again, supports my theory of the input label not being set to PC, yet on my Toshiba, there is no option to just change the input label.
If anyone has had this problem with a Toshiba TV, then please tell me how you've fixed it. As I understand it's a lot easier to change the input label on Samsung/Sony etc...
If anyone can help me, I would be very glad.
Thank you in advance.
