HDMI Connector Problem

Is it bad to use a HDMI cord that opens three new HDMI slots bad for a GPU that only has 1 slot for HDMI? Its a HDMI cord that connects to the HDMI, but instead of going to the monitor it opens 3 slots to use on two monitors maybe 3 in the future. (GPU R9 380X Powercolor PCS+ Myst Edition 4GB)

It should work ok but think of it like this. Its going to be sending the same signal to all the slots so if you have two monitors its gonna be the same pic on both monitors. Something like this would be useful if you had it connected with your monitor and your TV so you can watch movies from the computer on the TV.
