Question HDMI doesn't work on MSI GTX 1070 ?

Hello.
So my hdmi cabel and monitor works fine. The problem is with GPU. When its connected I just cant use HDMI it says no signal (even if hdmi is connected to gpu or motherboard). When I unplug cabels from gpu and computer uses iGPU, hdmi from motherboard works. DVI-D works when connected to GPU. It's just HDMI not working.

Anyone knows how to fix it? Drivers are updated, I also reseted BIOS (I took the battery out)

What about the Display Ports? Simple Display Port to HDMI adapter would seem to be the simple solution.

HDMI cabel is not damaged, it works I checked. Displayport and D-Sub doesnt work if GPU on. I have no idea why… only DVI-D works

Not what I said. The HDMI port on the GPU may be damaged. The GPU should have display port. A Display Port to HDMI cable or adapter would tell you if the GPU is still capable of that signal output.

Your motherboard connections should not be a consideration when you are testing the GPU.

If the GPU can output through DVI, then something is still working. If you mean the DVI on the motherboard works, again, not that important. 10 Series cards don't have analog output, so that would be DVI-D, which you could also potentially adapt to HDMI, but DP is easier.

I will buy the adapter tomorrow. I meant the DVI-D from GPU works.

also I dont really think they are damaged, evertything looks fine. The DVI-D is single, its under the DPs and HDMIs. Maybe some cables inside are not connected? I have this GPU for like 3 years, its works good I just didmt need to use hdmi or dp before.

No cables on the card aside from the fan wiring, just connectors soldered to the board. If that has broken somehow, surprised the card still works. Since it does, we can assume that isn't the problem.

HDMI cable works, that leaves resolution and settings. If for whatever reason you are trying pass an incompatible signal through HDMI, that would do it. If you are running DVI at a high refresh rate for example, and the monitor will only accept a 60hz HDMI signal, that would do it.

Try a lower resolution and check the refresh rate, if it is at 60hz, try 59hz or even 30hz.
