I am sure this question has been asked but I cannot find anything in search. It seems like a legitimate question though.
I am building a new system and want to run a dual monitor setup for work (front-end developer) but I am unsure if I can get away with getting a cheaper graphics card and running one monitor off HDMI and the other monitor off Display Port. Can anyone let me know if there are any flaws to running each monitor off a different display adapter I am finding cards with 2x HDMI or 2x DP much more expensive.
Since I stare at my screens for a long portion of the day I just want to make sure the viewing experience is consistent across both screens.
Any insight on this would be great.
