im buying a sapphire 7950 flex graphics card
and for those who do not know what flex edition cards are, flex edition cards allow you to use eyfinity on 3 monitors without all the expensive DP adapters, anyways using this card, would i be able to only have 1 tv with an hdmi output and still use 2 other monitors with only vga?

Solution
Truthfully it makes no difference what the monitors/tvs/projector/display of any type is if they actually work together. Just what ports it has so you can determine the adapters or converters needed. You want the same size so the picture is uniform across all screens. Response times just need to be low enough to not have ghosting and res can just be changed. The 7950 flex has 1 dvi-i, the rest are digital ports. So you can have 1 dvi-i to vga adapter (which comes with the card), the other will need to be a converter not just a regular adapter to use vga. Dp or hdmi to vga converters are cheaper than dvi-d to vga. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA1ZZ0NG2066

The contrast actually won't be better. Anything above 1000:1...
You can use adapters to connect other monitors with various cables-not just VGA, but HDMI-DVI-...etc.). With eyefinity, you can use any port-but it is recommended to use the same kind of screen. (Resolution, response time, refresh rate)

if i gave you links to both types of tvs i would be using would you be able to tell me if they could work together?

250 for a 10" bonus horizontally. Are you going for bigger or surround view. Because for bigger, they have 40" for around that price in 1080p (Not sure where you live, but killer deals from cyber monday coming)

The viewsonic has LED, and a 1000* more contrast ratio. So The picture will be much more appealing on them.

Now what is troubling me is not being ablke to find the TV on the Manufacturers Website. So having to take information off walmart:

So I can't find the response time of the element, but it's refresh rate is 60hz.
And "Fh: 24~82kHz, Fv: 50~75Hz for the ViewSonic.
They seem to be able to work together, but you'll notice differences between the two for sure.

Edit: They're both 720p also.

The contrast actually won't be better. Anything above 1000:1 is dynamic. It even states it's dynamic. But states the same 1000:1 static in what you pasted. You also can't believe these ratios nor response times. They're both 768p. Do you already have these monitors and tv?
