Hello,
I have 3 TVs that have hdmi inputs. I would like to get a video card that can support them. every eyefinity card seems to require at least one display port if you wnat to use more than two monitors. adaptors won't work. Is there a card that will work?

In order to support more than 2 displays, the adaptor has to be active. AMD has no active hdmi adaptor approved.

I guess Im lost...it says the dongles will support up to 2 legacy monitors so if you have one dongle and one active on the card you have 3 hdmi no? I am curious about this so let me know where I am going wrong here.

For more than 2 displays, you have to use the miniport outputs on the card. Unfortunately it will support only 2 legacy monitors with passive adaptors. When you do that, then the other outputs on the card won't work.
If ATI had certified active minidisplay port to HDMI adaptors it might work. They don't. They have mini to display, mini to DVI, mini to VGA. I tried using an active adaptor to convert to DVI, then passive to HDMI. It doesnt work.
ATI documentation tells you that you must use the minidisplay port outs with active adaptors, if needed, to enable more than 2 screens, but they don't have any for HDMI.
