So earlier today my audio stopped working and in an attempt to fix it I swapped the HDMI cable from my GPU to my second monitor with a DVI cable. Which didn't fix the issue. So I plugged the HDMI cable back in the exact same way it was prior to the cable swap and now it fails to show any picture.

If the monitor isn't plugged into the GPU it says 'No HDMI Signal', but as soon as I plug it in it says something like 'no signal found, entering power saving mode'.

My main monitor is connected by HDMI to my motherboard and my second monitor was originally connected to my Graphics Card.

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT545
Second Monitor: Dell SP2309W
Motherboard: Dell 0Y2MRG

If anyone can please tell me what to do in order to get my second monitor working fine again, that would be great.
Thanks

DVI cable doesn't carry sound signal through your gpu to monitor like hdmi cable does. I would look at hdmi cable for any faults that might have resulted in no display.
Also try these steps if changing hdmi cable doesn't change anything:

1. Power off the PC
2. Power off the monitor
3. Disconnect the power cord from the monitor
4. Disconnect all monitor cords from the PC (USB, DVI, VGA, DisplayPort, HDMI, etc.)
5. While disconnected, press and hold the monitor power button down for 3 seconds
6. Reconnect the power cord and hdmi cable to the monitor
7. Power the PC on and then the monitor
8. Change the Input Select to hdmi

You may also have to go to Control Panel/Sound and be sure the default device is set to the card's audio after you have connected hdmi cable.
