Hey! I have an issue with my 2nd monitor, suddenly it stopped being recognized as an HDMI Toshiba monitor and changed the resolution... Now it shows on NVDIA panel as Digital Monitor and if I try to change it to a custom resolution it just all go black.

When I connect with the VGA cable it shows just fine and as a Toshiba TV, so I can again change the resolution just fine on it.

Why it stopped working properly with the HDMI and how I get it to work again?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Make and models of both panels? have you tried working with another(known working) cable for your HDMI port? Model for your Nvidia GPU? You might want to see if the panel works on a donor system. If it does then the drivers are what might need a reinstall. Use DDU to remove all GPU drivers(Intel, AMD and Nvidia) then manually reinstall in an elevated command, with the latest driver sourced from Nvidia's support site.

Thank u for ur answer!

I tried with another HDMI cable, they both work the same way, the monitor is there and but it doesnt recognize the name and it doesnt let me change the resolution on it.

Ive tried uninstalling and installing again the NVIDIA drivers but it still work the same way. For some reason it just randomly started recognizing the monitor as a digital display on the NVIDIA settings and it doesnt let me change the resolution on it.
