[SOLVED] HDMI No Signal (issue)

Hi, i've had my pre-built pc for a year now and everything has worked fine. i recently unplugged the monitor and pc for a few days to sort out my room. When i plugged everything back in, my monitor screen said HDMI no signal. Ive tried changing the input to vga with a vga cable and that didnt work and im kind of panicking since i have a lot of work to do with no way to do it. Someone please help.

Are you sure that you plugged the monitor into the correct HDMI port: i.e. motherboard instead of GPU (or vice versa)?

Try another known working HDMI cable.

Try another known working monitor with your pre-built pc.

Try your monitor on another known working computer.

Determine if the problem follows the monitor or stays with your computer.
