Ok so, I think I'm in the right area to ask a question.
Recently, my monitor has been losing signal with my hdmi. It'll without warning just display the message, and the monitor light goes from blue to orange. I have to manually hold the power button to power down the PC and get the display up.
I was snooping around similar questions, and I checked all my temperatures. Both my GPU and CPU hover around 33 C when idle, so I don't think that's the issue. I believe the issue may have to do with the fact that I'm back in my college dorms, I've have PC issues in the past with the wall ports and such. Last time I had to take out a battery off of the motherboard or something.

Radeon R9 280X
I-5 4460 3 GB
MSI H81M-E34 (i think thats the motherboard).
