HDMI No Signal

I have a i5 4690k with 8g of rams. For my GPU i have a Asus GTX 970. When i plug my hdmi cord to my gpu and to my monitor it says HDMI No Signals. PLEase help.

You don't know how many times people have this issue and it usually is fixed by this:

Usually, when it doesn't work, it is a driver issue as HDMI most of the time, has to have a driver for it to work. Have you installed the latest driver for your Asus GTX 970?

yes i do have the latest driver for my gpu

Alright, have you tried it with a different HDMI cable or monitor?

the hdmi is working on my laptop and there is a respond coming from my monitor if that helps
