Question HDMI over ethernet

What is the most reliable way to extend hdmi over ethernet? I have just spent several hours struggling with a manhattan kit. It worked for a little bit but then stopped. I was running it over cat5 cable. I thought I had the problem solved when I plugged in one of the supplied usb cables.
But it just doesn't work. All I want to do is have one computer hooked up to another 2 displays. the 2 displays are on opposite ends of the house.

Are you doing this as point-to-point ethernet cable or trying to run this over a standard mixed ethernet network ?

Point to point. I found my solution. was not cheap 110 bucks at micro center. but it worked immediately. kanex pro hdmi extender
