Question HDMI port says no signal

Hi. So my cousin gifted me a monitor. I Used it as tv for 2 days and then decided to plug it to the pc and use it as a monitor. When i connect the HDMI cable with the monitor it stays black for about 5 seconds and then blue screen appears and it says HDMI no signal. When i plug old monitor works fine. The monitor is Philips 221t

What is the make and model of the GPU? Are you on the latest GPU drivers for your GPU? You may want to also state the make and model of the display that is hooked up to your PC at the time of writing(outside of the Philips)

My gpu is nvidia geforce gtx 1050. Last time i updated the dribers was about 2 months ago. My current monitor is NEO LED-1990
