Hdmi prob on ps3

Hi ppl.

Right first off i gotta start with this issue alot of ppl have had it/and had it fixed.

I use a GTVL26W8HD tv 26 inch*

now i cannot for the fcukin life of me figure out how to get sound through hdmi, ive tried multiple methods include use the Multi scart via red/whitecables

tried 2 diffrent hdmi cables got 1 more on the way
its a hdmi cable with dvi slot and piece to go into the ps3 if this doesnt work when i recieve it then i dunno what.

any case my tv able to run the the ps3 @ 1080i display and gives a great picture both ps3 N PC i got sound for the TV its self channels ect.


any hlp would be great but ive tried most things. so plz post ur suggestions and i will try them.

tried the old system setting-->select sound settings-->select audio output settings -->hit x on hdmi-->hit x on automatic-->hit x to enter?

nah ive tried these i cant even get the scart sound to work might consider buying a surround sound system anyways.
