[SOLVED] HDMI problem first build

we bulit a pc with my friend but the monitor is not showing signal. we plugged monitor in hdmi port into mobo through IO shield

didnt install windows or anything yet

don't use the motherboard output, use the gpu output

Putting in a graphics card disables onboard video. Use the Rx 570 video ports instead.

FYI, onboard video doesn't route video from the graphics card. To get rx 570 performance, must use it's video ports.

It says: reboot and select boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key

i think we forgot to buy an OS

You're probably familiar with pre-built PC's already having the os installed. As you've found out doing your own building with empty HDDs need to install os yourself.

Look at tutorials in the meantime using usb since you don't have an optical disk drive. When go to buy Windows 10 youll want 64Bit Home edition on usb stick.

my friend is planning to buy a usb and windows 10 and we will put windows in the usb disk. then i believe i need to select usb flash drive for os installation in BIOS
