Question HDMI Signal Not Detected Neither gpu or motherboard input work

Motherboard: ASUS Z390-p
GPU: gefore gtx 1050ti
So my computer has been running very well since Ive built it however today I ran into a problem

While playing a video game my screen went black and I got the HDMI signal not detected notification

So I restarted the comp but that didnt work

I then tried to plug he hdmi cable into the integrated gpu and that didn’t work

I tried a different hdmi cable and that didnt work

I even tried to plug the pc into a different outlet but to no avail

Everything is plugged in correctly

Remove discrete graphics card from computer first. Physically remove it.
With discrete graphics card present, integrated gpu gets disabled.

BTW - that cpu model are you using? There are models without integrated gpu too. Then video outputs on motherboard will not work.

its an I5 K... Forgive I cant remember the exact model off the top of my head

the integrated gpu has worked before. I tried what you suggested but that didnt work either. Im going to try a different monitor to see if thats the issue

Nvm the other monitor doesnt have an hdmi port

UPDATE: Im about 99% sure its water damage my pcei cable was wet and I accidentally spilt a cup of water from my desk onto my computer but I didnt think it was a big deal because I dried it, but thats me being an amateur
