Hi, I bought an HDMI splitter for my PC. I have 3 monitors and I want to have the same image in (2) and (3).
If I connect the monitors after my computer is already running, they work perfectly, but if I boot it up with the monitors connected, then none of them works, Windows recognizes only one monitor (the one that isn't connected through the splitter). I have to disconnect one of them so the splitter only have one conected, and after Windows recognizes it, then I can connect the other one.
I'm using Windows 10 and the splitter is connected to a GTX 980.
Any ideas of what might be causing this behaviour?
Thank you.
EDIT: I just read in the description of the product: For proper working, first connect a display to the splitter, After the image is displayed connect the second display.
So I guess this has no solution and I just bought a cheap splitter.
