Hey! i have gaming pc connected to my main monitor. few days ago i bought TV into my room so i bought HDMI splitter. i split my video signal coming from primary GPU into TV and monitor. the problem is there is no switch or anything on that splitter so i need to have both screen on or i need to turn off monitor or TV. i assume i should by HDMI switch or something like that. i tried ,,Windows+P,, but it doesnt work when i am using splitter. is there any way how can i choose what display i want without manually turning off screen with using this splitter

monitor is 1080p
TV is 4k

Solution
yeah i know but i want to know if there is some way how to enable or disable one screen without need of turning it off or unpluging cable from splitter.
You can't.
The PC sees one target device.

If you want independent operation of each monitor, you need two cables from the GPU outputs.

I just recently researched this.

What you need is called a "bidirectional switcher." It can be used either as 1:2 or 2:1

It is a switcher with a "button" to switch, but will not be on simultaneously. It cost about the same as all other switchers, can get a cheap one for $10 or expensive one at $40.
