HDMI switch, hdmi to vga causing blue tint

Hey guys. I just got done setting up this setup where I use an hdmi switch for my PC and ps4. My monitor only has a vga output and I bought an hdmi to vga adapter to plug into the hdmi switch. It seems to work but not completely since my monitor has a blue tint and I'm not sure what's causing it. I don't want to have to get a new monitor so I'm going through all of this to get it all set up.

Intel i5 4690K 3.5GHz
DDR3 16Gb 4x4 g.skill ram 1600 MHz 240 pin
MSI GTX970 frozr edition
750w cooler master modular power supply

Go under the menu in your monitor and see if you can change the color levels. If so just turn down the blue until you get where you need to be.
