HDMI switch with 30Hz connected to a monitor with 60Hz

I have a Acer r271 monitor to which I connect my PS4 and my laptop. Since the monitor has only one HDMI port I bought a UGreen switch which says it supports upto 3840 * 2160 @ 30Hz. But my monitor is 60Hz monitor. Will the switch reduce the refresh rate when the output is displayed to the monitor from my laptop or PS4?

If its the 3 in 1 then probably not

For XBOX, ps4 pro, ruko tv stick and other products with HDMI2.0 version or 4K@60HZ, you need to connect your devices by hdmi cable first and set the refresh rate to 30HZ than use our hdmi switch
