[SOLVED] HDMI TO displayport

Hey all!

I just bought a New monitor the, acer KG241. My GPU has a displayport output but my monitor only supports HDMI. If I buy a HDMI to Displayport cable, will I get better performance than just HDMI 2.0 or identical?
