my monitor is 144hz and only has dvi dual link when the ps5 comes how will i get 144hz because the ps5 only has hdmi

Solution
you buy an adapter to convert the hdmi to dvi. just be sure the dvi end is the right one since there are multiple versions of it.

it's that simple. you can get a cable with the 2 ends what you need or simply an adapter that converts right at the gpu.

they are not that expensive. a simple hdmi to dvi search on newegg or amazon will turn up plenty of options

here's the search i suggested done for you. make sure the dvi end is the right one and it should be fine. as for what fps you'll get, i have no clue. i'd have to look up what dvi-d can even do at what resolutions, which you can also google no problem. :)

her's the various types of dvi so be sure you know which one you have so you can get the matching adapter

they do work fine but i did forget to mention it has t be an "active" adapter to get beyond 60 herts. so do look for the "active" part in the description before buying something. i don't think they'll go beyond 120 hz though, but i may be remembering wrong. dual link just wasn't designed for high frame rates for the most part. not sure why your monitor has it which makes me think it can handle it.

thanks for making me look twice to see i missed an important detail!! :)
