HDMI to monitor all of a sudden not working?

I've been using this computer for 2-3 months via HDMI no problems, and all of a sudden can't get my computer monitor to show my screen. I've tested multiple hdmi cables, and the monitor works with my laptop. I've never had this issue before, and my drivers may have updated maybe two weeks ago, but I've used it everyday since with no issues. I usually put my computer to sleep, but sometimes I'll shut it off. This is my first build, so I don't have a lot of experience and can't figure out what could be the problem. I literally was using it last night. I hope to god it isn't a dead videocard...damn rebates.

It's a long shot but try reseating the graphics card (remove and replace firmly).

Trying the card in another PC would also be useful exercise if that's at all possible, it would certainly tell you if the card is dead or not (provided the PSU in the test PC is powerful enough to drive that particular card).
