HDMI to VGA connector,VGA male-to-male cable,speakers(realtek high definition audio)

hello

I haven't actually bought an Xbox 360.I am new to it.Before purchasing it,i just want to clarify regarding its accessories and setting up.Apart from HDMI to VGA connector, do we need separate VGA male-to-male cable is required.

Also one more doubt regarding audio.i have two speakers(realtek high definition audio).is that enough for xbox360 to hear the audio.

For that to have a chance of working you need an active hdmi to vga adapter, not just an hdmi-vga cable. These adapters can be rather pricey and honestly your money is better spent in buying a new tv/monitor that has an hdmi in connector.

In case you are wondering why you need an active adapter - Hdmi is uses a pure digital signal. VGA is purely analog and doesnt know what to do with a digital signal. So the adapter needs to take the digital signal and decode it and then re-encode it into the analog signal.
