Hi, i've got a Zotac GTX960 AMP! and a monitor connected via vga to dvi adapter, on my card there's remaining 3 ports; 2x display port and 1x hdmi 2.0. so i want to connect an addditional monitor which have only vga output, so here's the question: if i get any hdmi to vga adapter (can be hdmi 1.x) will work on hdmi 2.0 port? here's the same adapter's picture but this is displayport one: http://cdn1.n11.com.tr/a1/1024/12/67/52/126752982_536480604.jpg so which one should i buy?

One thing to keep in mind with the adapters: They work only in ONE direction.
so if adapter is VGA to Displayport, it will not work from display port to VGA.
Same apples to HDMI too.

Then comes the second "problem" which is, VGA is analog, displayport and HDMI are digital signals, thus it needs converter in between which needs power.
The good side of this is that both DP and HDMI have pins for power supply but... will it really work? Some adapters have separate USB connector for getting power.
Edit: example: https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-Active-Adapter-Micro-USB/dp/B00879DM56

Thus.. unless they specify it is HDMI to VGA, don't buy it.
That said, HDMI2.0a is backwards compatible to 1.4 and as such it should work fine.
