Hey guys,
I bought this monitor in the link below:
https://www.cnet.com/products/asus-vh222d-lcd-monitor-21-5-series/specs/
As you can see it only support VGA.

Now, I have a Gigabyte gtx 1050 ti 4gb which only have DVI-D and HDMI input.

Do you recommend me to buy an adapter or a direct cable? And what is better, DVI-D or HDMI? Which one can I go over 60 hz?

Thanks in advance :)

Solution
Vga can go over 60hz. Back in the day crt were often above 60hz unlike lcds. 2048×1536 @85hz was the bee's knees.

A cable won't work as you need it to convert digital to analog. Dvi and hdmi are equivalent here so it doesn't matter. Just find the cheapest active adapter you can find. Don't expect the monitor to oc and the adapter can limit bandwidth.
