I don't think it has to do with bandwidth. it is more like the issues of HDR and windows itself. Right now both nvifia and amd have to do their ow tweak when it comes to HDR. But some of windows updates in the past overriding gpu maker setting caussing issues with application that use HDR on windows. Amd might already rolling out their fix for it.
